But there are clear signs to look out for. <a href=\"https:\/\/grimslovsskogstjanst.se\/en\/services\/clearing\/\">Clearing<\/a> should be done when the seedling or young forest starts to become so dense that the crowns of the trees no longer get enough light. This is when the battle for space, water and nutrients intensifies.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For spruce, the first clearing is often done at 1.5-2 meters height, while pine should be cleared when they reach about 2-3 meters.
